President Joe Biden is a horrifyingly bad commander-in-chief. I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know. You’ve had to live under his leadership and failed policies for four years, just like me. We’ve all been to the grocery store and balked at having to saw off an arm and a leg to trade on the black market — apparently there are a lot of amputees looking for body parts or something — in order to buy a pack of Skittles and one of those small carton’s of milk the lunch lady put on your tray in elementary school.
He’s bungled the economy, our national security — border invasion, disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal — pushed us to the brink of a global war, and topped it off with a blanket pardon for his felony committing son, Hunter Biden. Oh. Almost forgot. He also lied to the American people about his cognitive health.
According to Trending Politics News, a brand new poll for The Daily Mail has confirmed what we all thought all along: President Joe Biden is the worst president in the last 50 years.
I find that impressive since his competition was former Presidents Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter. He’ll go down as a legend for sure. Just not in the way he probably envisioned all those years serving in the Senate.
Carter, defeated after a single term, struggled with soaring inflation and the Iran hostage crisis, while Nixon resigned in disgrace following the Watergate scandal. Yet voters now view Biden’s presidency as more detrimental. In the poll conducted by J.L. Partners involving 1,006 registered voters, participants were asked to rank the last nine U.S. presidents from best to worst. Joe Biden found himself at the bottom of the list, deemed the least effective leader in the past 47 years. A striking 44% of respondents ranked him among the worst two presidents, while only 14% considered him one of the top two, resulting in a net score of -30. This placed him lower than both Nixon, who had a net score of -25, and Donald Trump, with -15. James Johnson, cofounder of J.L. Partners, described the results as ‘diabolical’ for Biden.
The poll also revealed that over half of American voters disapproved of Biden’s decision to pardon his son, which further exacerbated his already low approval ratings. The controversial move led to a decline of four additional points, bringing his approval rating down to 37 percent.
“There’s always a recency bias and as Joe Biden is the incumbent, he starts off at a disadvantage there,” James Johnson, cofounder of J.L. Partners, went on to say. “But regardless of that, these numbers are worse than I expected.”
“Voters have obviously looked at his age, general conduct in office, his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the situation at the southern border, and decided that, in their view, it qualifies him to be the worst president in modern history,” Johnson added. “And that’s the position in which he leaves office. From the man who beat Trump to the man who let him back in, and who voters feel has been fundamentally a bad president.”
We witnessed a hellacious spike in inflation under the Biden-Harris regime, a massive increase in our national debt, and high prices for goods and services that have left our households barely treading water when it comes to paying the bills. The policies Biden put in place did nothing to provide Americans with relief. In fact, it made things far worse.
Let’s hope when President-elect Donald Trump takes over next month, we can get on the fast track to recovery.
