Conservative commentator and former member of the Secret Service, Dan Bongino, delivered a highly emotional message to his viewing and listening audience on Monday morning, stating that his time behind the mic was now coming to a close. President Donald Trump has tapped Bongino to be the Deputy Director of the FBI under new Director Kash Patel.
This is a most excellent pick. Bongino will likely get along famously with Patel and the two of them, being as fiery as they are, will no doubt begin cleansing the bureau of all the deep state actors that have burrowed their way into the federal law enforcement agency.
“It’s not going to be the last show, but we’ve only got a few more left with you,” Bongino said to his viewers. “So, obviously, we’re going to be working with a team of people to make this transition from me, political commentator Dan, to Deputy Director of the FBI Dan.”
“Those are different roles, require different skills. Skills I have and have used before and I plan to use again. It’s going to hurt to leave you,” he continued.
He then reassured his audience that while he has to leave his show, the content being produced by his wife and daughters, who are the main driving force behind his brand, would continue.
I’ll discuss over the course of the coming days, I’ll be with you for a little bit longer on radio and on my show, I will discuss exactly what’s going to happen,” he said.
He then added, “My wife has been running the business for a long time. I don’t get involved with the business at all. I do the talking.”
“The FBI belongs to the American people. It doesn’t belong to me. It doesn’t belong to anyone else but the American people. But this is the honor of a lifetime, and it’s a serious mission. And I plan on implementing that vision,” Bongino concluded.
President Trump announced the pick Sunday evening in a post on Truth Social, referring to Bongino as “a man of incredible love and passion for our Country.”
“Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice,” Trump said in the post. “Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel.”
The president then pointed to Bongino’s experience with law enforcement as he served in the NYPD along with the Secret Service, not to mention his time working to expose the corruption inside federal agencies. That right there makes him the perfect choice for this position.
He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve,” Trump stated. “Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”
Over the course of the last few years, Bongino has boldly been putting the FBI under the microscope for their bad behavior and has offered criticism concerning how the bureau was being weaponized by the Biden administration against conservatives, along with failing in its actual duty to secure our country’s highest profile-targets.
“Bongino has also been a vocal opponent of former FBI Director Christopher Wray and the agency’s handling of the January 6 cases. He has repeatedly pointed out how the bureau, under Democratic leadership, targeted parents, pro-lifers, and conservative activists while turning a blind eye to left-wing violence,” Trending Politics News concluded.
