Former President Joe Biden’s appearance on The View should have been an easy interview for him, as the ladies who host the show would guide him through basically every topic and slobber all over him along the way. And yet, somehow, it transformed into the very definition of “cringe” and demonstrated why many of his colleagues in the Democratic Party didn’t want him to run for a second term to begin with.
During a segment that was supposed to shine a spotlight on his legacy, the former president went on a strange and repetitive rant concerning infrastructure and education, stumbling over his words multiple times. In other words, he looked like a man in his 80s that should be retired, sitting on his porch feeding squirrels.
“They’re all the the the… projects, the benefits,” Biden started, before going off the rails. “How do you lead the world without having the best infrastructure? How do you lead the world without having the best healthcare in the world?”
“How do you lead the world without having the best education system in the world? How do you lead the world without having the best education system in the world? How do you lead the world when you don’t have that done?” he said.
Even the harpies who host the show, who are usually supportive of any left-wing guest, especially a former president, looked ill at ease during the confusing moment.

In July 2024, Biden officially announced he would not seek re-election following a disastrous debate performance and mounting internal pressure from Democratic leaders. Citing health and stamina concerns, he threw his support behind former Vice President Kamala Harris, who struggled to close the gap against Donald Trump.

Who thought it was a good idea to allow an elderly man with clear signs of cognitive decline to make an appearance on a popular morning talk show, especially because his public speaking is one of the reasons he lost the presidency? That person should be fired immediately. Like yesterday.
Biden is toasted on both sides, like bread popping out of a toaster set to the highest setting. What reason does the Democratic Party have for trotting him out like a show pony? It’s only making them look bad. Or is this a decision made by him or his family? Either way it’s a gross form of elder abuse that needs to end.
