Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) discovered a dead body on the streets not long after anti-ICE rioters fled the scene. The violence in the city is going down a very dark path, justifying President Donald Trump’s deployment of both National Guard troops and Marines to assist law enforcement with putting an end to the chaos.
A local station, KTLA, is reporting that LAPD responded to the location of a riot at 1:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday. Several reports were received that a person at the scene was unresponsive. When they arrived, they found a man on his back, wearing a red sweatshirt close by the location of a T-Mobile store that had been set on fire and burned out.
It’s not clear, as of this writing, if the death is connected to the rioting. The news outlet then shared a video of the victim, who was covered by a canopy as police continued their investigation of the situation surrounding the man’s death.
“The site of West 3rd Street and Broadway is one epicenter of violence that has erupted across the city in response to raids conducted by U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement over the weekend. What began as a protest against the operation quickly became a riot as participants donned face shields and earplugs and began hurling cinder blocks, electric scooters, and other dangerous items at federal officials,” Trending Politics News said.
The report then said, “Images from the scene show makeshift barricades as rioters launched fireworks at National Guardsmen and Marines sent by the Trump administration to restore order to the City of Angels. Even establishment media figures have condemned the tepid response by city and state officials like Mayor Karen Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom.”
Many of the residents of Los Angeles who have lost their means of making a living in all the chaos of these riots say they are sick and tired of the looting and rioting.
“What’s the point of protesting right now? It’s just harming the community more than it’s helping,” Eddie Velazquez, a business owner close to the site of where some of the worst vandalism has taken place, told the NY Post.
The violence scenes have shown burning cars and smashed storefronts in places like Compton and Paramount, where demonstrators have spat on American flags while calling on others to “burn it all down.” A source with ICE told the outlet that the violent demonstrators are advocating “for the actual criminals … sex offenders and the terrorists” the agency is targeting in its raids, exhibiting a gross misunderstanding of who is guilty or innocent.
“You have criminals, gang members, terrorists, child molesters, sex offenders that are being arrested, but since people don’t know the background of the case or what’s going on, everybody’s innocent,” the source went on to describe.
As usual, the cause of rioting and looting in a situation like this is because of an overemotional reaction to false narratives spread in the mainstream media. People truly believe that the vast majority of illegal immigrants being booted to their home country are good people.
Sorry to say, but as the source said above, that’s not the case at all. Most have rap sheets and connections with to some of the most violent, horrific gangs and cartels on earth. By allowing these people free access to the country, we are putting our citizens at risk.
God says to love your neighbor. There’s nothing loving about increasing the chances they become victims of violent crime.
