According to new data that’s just been made public, the folks within the Democratic Party woke up today in uncharted territory. Their overall favorability rating has taken a steep dive down, down, down, to a truly pathetic 34 percent, according to a brand new Gallup poll.
We’re still just at the start of the left’s new nightmare. Conservatives are slicing and dicing through Democrats when it comes to being liked by the public like Edward Scissorhands in a stationary store. Just imagine if President Donald Trump and his merry band of political misfits continue to do the stellar job they’re doing right now at the end of his term?
The decline, which is a massive slide from 64 percent in 1996, is clearly presenting Democrats with a truth they continue refusing to face: People don’t like them or their policy agenda. And yet, despite obvious facts being practically glued shoved into their brains, they cling to their twisted, delusional utopian fantasies. Wake up, guys. We know your plan will never work.
It hasĀ neverĀ worked. Nor will it. Ever. It denies fundamental truths and realities about human nature and how economic markets work. How human beings work at their core. It’s like taking Tylenol for a brain tumor. Sure, it might temporarily lessen pain, but then it comes back, often worse than it was before you took it.
And this downward spiral isn’t new. It just wasn’t moving at the same speed it is today. It all kicked off in the 1990s, which correlates with the Democratic Party’s shift toward radical progressive ideology. In a study produced in 2019, from the American Political Science Review, “The process begins long before voters get a choice: more ideologically extreme politicians have been running for office since the 1980s.”
Many conservatives have rightly pointed out that Democrats embracing open borders, radical social policies, identity politics, and other issues, has alienated them from the concerns of Americans in the heartland. This is the portion of our country with the most people, which means that the majority of the country hasn’t gone Looney Tunes like the liberal big cities.
Data from the Gallup poll supports this explanation. There’s been a steady decline in popularity for the Democrats since 2014, which was the last time it hit 36 percent after midterm election losses rocked their world.
The 34 percent they have today is due to the massive surge in illegal border crossings, upticks in crime, poor economic conditions, and regulations on constitutional liberty during former President Joe Biden’s administration.
News of this massive ding Democrats have taken in their reputation is proof that now is the time for Trump and his administration to continue fulfilling campaign promises and utilizing their unique set of skills in cultural engagement to purify our society and help America restore its greatness, ensuring the GOP stays on top for decades to come.
