Once again, Americans are trying to figure out what President Joe Biden is saying, especially when compared to what he told them only a few months ago.
In addition to Joe’s incoherent ramblings, his speeches are written as though he never said the opposite, which anyone with an Internet connection can verify within a few minutes.
Mr. Biden now admits that inflation is ‘worrisome,’ even though three months ago he dismissed the skyrocketing costs as ‘temporary’.
“Everything from a gallon of gas to loaf of bread costs more,” Biden said during a speech promoting his infrastructure bill. “And it’s worrisome, even though wages are going up.”
Biden continued by discussing the rapidly rising fuel prices, asking, “Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?”
“In some parts of California, they’re paying $4.50 a gallon,” Biden said, apparently unaware that the highest prices in the state of California are more than $7 per gallon.

In July, Biden dismissed the rising costs and inflation as temporary and nothing to worry about.
“Some folks have raised worries that this could be a sign of persistent inflation. But that’s not our view,” he said at the White House on July 19.
“Our experts believe and the data shows that most of the price increases we’ve seen are, were expected and expected to be temporary,” he continued.
The annual inflation rate hit 5.0 percent in May, increasing to 5.4 in June staying steady through September.
With the Biden administration’s policies not bringing down the rate and the supply chain backing up, Joe’s hope that everything would magically correct itself, which it has not, has led to his job approval numbers plummeting.
In October, the inflation rate hit 6.2 percent, up 0.9 percent from just a month earlier marking it as the highest rate since November 1990.
In a failed attempt to pivot away from the poor numbers, Biden actually argued that the rising cost of goods was proof of how his policies were working.
“Because of the strength of our economic recovery, American families have been able to buy more products,” he said.
He also tried to give the impression that the extra costs of goods should not be an issue because Americans had more money as a result of his child tax credit and $1,400 stimulus checks passed in March.
“But what happens if there’s nothing to buy and you got more money?” Biden asked. “You compete for getting it there. It creates a real problem.”
The Biden White House’s plan to combat inflation is to spend trillions of more dollars, hoping everything will just balance out.
The problem for Biden is a few of his own party’s U.S. Senators, are not on board with their philosophy.
The most vocal of them is Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) who tweeted out that the inflation Americans were experiencing is obviously not temporary.
“By all accounts, the threat posed by record inflation to the American people is not ‘transitory’ and is instead getting worse. “From the grocery store to the gas pump, Americans know the inflation tax is real and DC can no longer ignore the economic pain Americans feel every day.”

As with all of Biden’s decisions, they lack wisdom, and the end results, intended or not, will diminish the American way of life.
