In another hypocritical move by a Biden administration, which is not requiring illegal aliens pouring across the U.S. Southern border to be vaccinated, Sleepy Joe’s DHS is now requiring truckers who are bringing much-needed supplies into the US, to prove their vaccination status before entering.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced its new policy on Saturday, January 22nd:
“The Department of Homeland Security will require that non-U.S. individuals entering the United States via land ports of entry or ferry terminals along our Northern and Southern borders be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be prepared to show related proof of vaccination,”
This requires all non-U.S. citizens – including Mexican and Canadian truck drivers – to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to enter the country via all land ports of entry and ferry terminals. The move is certain to exacerbate existing supply chain issues in the United States.
The DHS details how all “non-U.S. individuals traveling to the United States via land ports of entry or ferry terminals, whether for essential or non-essential reasons, must” be able to do the following:
- verbally attest to their COVID-19 vaccination status;
- provide proof of a CDC-approved COVID-19 vaccination, as outlined on the CDC website;
- present a valid Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI)-compliant document, such as a valid passport, Trusted Traveler Program card, or Enhanced Tribal Card; and,
- be prepared to present any other relevant documents requested by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer during a border inspection.
The decision comes as America’s grocery stores are facing unprecedented shortages and bare shelves, a problem which will probably be exacerbated by this policy given its relevance to truck drivers attempting to enter the U.S. via the Mexican or Canadian border.
The crackdown also follows the Biden regime which was just caught allowing illegal aliens residing in the U.S. to use criminal arrest warrants as a form of documentation to travel in airports.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) disclosed to a congressional office that illegal migrants flying without proper identification can use an arrest warrant as an alternate form of identification when presenting to airport security, according to a letter the Daily Caller News Foundation exclusively obtained.
Responding to Republican Texas Rep. Lance Gooden’s Dec. 15 inquiry about illegal migrants flying across the country, TSA Administrator David Pekoske explained that certain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents may be considered acceptable forms of alternate identification for non-citizens, including a “Warrant for Arrest of Alien” and a “Warrant of Removal/Deportation.”
“TSA’s response confirms the Biden Administration is knowingly putting our national security at risk,” Gooden told the DCNF. “Unknown and unvetted immigrants shouldn’t even be in the country, much less flying without proper identification.”
“TSA is committed to ensuring that all travelers, regardless of immigration status, are pre-screened before they arrive to the airport, have their pre-screening status and identification verified at security checkpoints, and receive appropriate screening based on risk before entering the sterile area of the airport,” Pekoske wrote.
So let’s get this straight America.
According to the Biden administration, it’s ok for people to enter our country illegally without being vaccinated, for illegal aliens to use arrest warrants as ID when flying, but it’s not ok for foreign truck drivers to enter the United States with trailers full of merchandise/supplies unless of course, they have taken the COVID jabs.
This means truckers who refuse to take the controversial COVID vaccine jabs, are no longer working. The end result is fewer trucks are entering the U.S leaving our shelves bare.
When it’s all said and done, it’s all Joe Biden’s fault.
