El Segundo Unified, a school district in Los Angeles, was made to pay $1 million after authorities there dismissed a teen’s bullying as typical adolescent drama brought on by a love triangle. The student, Eleri Olive Irons, had to deal with bullying for eight months in 2018 when she was 13 and 14. In April 2019, Eleri and her parents, Natalie and Christopher Irons, filed a lawsuit. According to the Irons’ attorneys, the El Segundo Unified School District said that principal Melissa Gooden was not accountable for the girl’s protection. Eleri suffered from PTSD that caused her to cut herself,…

Sweeney, of the U.S. District Court, issued the order in the plaintiffs’ favor, Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, the National Association for Gun Rights, and local Martin Carter Kehoe, and against Boulder County. The county recently passed a law prohibiting the sale, transfer, and manufacture of “rapid-fire trigger activators,” “assault weapons,” and high-capacity magazines. It was not against the law for people to own any of the previously specified things. Sweeney referenced a recent…

Man, we just don’t know how to act anymore as a society! You see an increasing amount of bad behavior these days, fights at sporting events, popping shots in the drive-through, and brawls on college campuses. Whether it’s the long-term effects of people being cooped up for covid (it isn’t), or just the decaying moral fabric of our society, people just can’t seem to control themselves anymore. It isn’t always criminal activity, though we have seen a spike in that since the BLM riots of 2020, no there is more knucklehead behavior everywhere! The most alarming uptick in knucklehead behavior…

FBI agent Timothy Thibault resigned late last week and was walked out from the FBI, according to two US officials, after being criticized for his investigations into Hunter Biden, the son of President Biden. However, those officials also noted Thibault had reached retirement age, and they added that anyone retiring must surrender their badges and weapons and be escorted from the building. After working at FBI’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., Thibault had recently been removed from his duties as assistant special agent in charge of the FBI’s Washington field office, which covers the entire District of Columbia and Northern Virginia.…

The nurse who was responsible for the horrific 90mph multiple collision crash which killed six people in LA earlier this month had revealed she was suffering from “frightening” mental health issues before the accident. Nicole Linton, 37, was charged with murder by the LAPD after she was caught on CCTV hurtling down an LA street at around 90mph, running a stop light before smashing side-long into traffic crossing an intersection. The crash was so severe that witnesses thought a bomb had detonated in the street and some of the vehicles involved were so badly burned that they ceased to resemble…

There’s no such thing as a free lunch, something as true as it is when a person offers you a “free” cigarette in prison as when EV acolytes promise you lower driving costs because electricity is cheaper than gas. In the EV example, it certainly is true that, per fill up, charging a Tesla costs less than filling up a car with gas or diesel. That’s generally true, and is a benefit that certainly makes buying an EV make sense for a large number of people that just commute to and from work in their car. But there is no…

Joe Biden on Tuesday conveyed a strong message in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania that showed his escalated verbiage against “MAGA Republicans” in Congress months before the midterms. During another blame speech towards Republicans, Biden heavily defended the FBI amid growing threats following the organization’s hunt of previous President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. “It’s sickening to see the new attacks on the FBI, threatening the lives of law enforcement agents and their families for simply carrying out the law and doing their job,” Biden told a crowd in Wilkes-Barre. “Look, I want to say this clear as I can:…

Mikhail Gorbachev, who ended the Cold War without slaughter but neglected to forestall the breakdown of the Soviet Union, passed on Tuesday at 91 years old, medical clinic authorities in Moscow said. Gorbachev, the last Soviet president, forged arms decrease deals with the United States, and associations with Western powers to eliminate the Iron Curtain that had separated Europe since World War Two and achieved the reunification of Germany. However, internal reforms watered down the Soviet Union to the place where it fell apart, a time that President Vladimir Putin has called the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe“. “Mikhail Gorbachev passed away…

Now are the times of women hooking up and shacking up with poorly dressed, sloppily groomed, foul-mouthed…murder suspects. It looks like things are getting worse at YouTube. Despite YouTube’s dominance in the user-generated video space for more than a decade, the introduction of TikTok in 2017 signaled the beginning of the end for the site. It released “YouTube shorts,” a reactive maneuver that mirrored the short-form phone format, in an attempt to compete with the dominance of TikTok.  In any case, this strategy appears unsuccessful, as TikTok continues to pose a serious threat to YouTube’s hegemonic status. YouTube’s newest high-profile exit has some worrying that matters may be worse than people understand.  As per New York Post, longtime…

The issues surrounding electric cars and their batteries are numerous. They are expensive, will basically eliminate anyone but a dealer to service any issues with the vehicle, there are no real disposal plans in place as far as recycling is concerned, and most all of the materials…
