I’ve been to more concerts than I can recall. Country, rock, metal, bluegrass, even rap. I will go to pretty much anything. Live music is my jam! Over the years, I have seen lots of weird incidents as well. Fans fighting, people acting the fool, the occasional interaction between performer and fan. I was at a concert once and the young lady next to me on the rail was on the phone yelling at her husband. The singer stopped and told her to get off the phone and listen to the show. I was embarrassed FOR her! (True story). I…

Anyone in the market for a high-end sports car? No, it’s not electric! What is this, 2030? How about a gently used 2021 Porsche Carrera 4S? Very low miles, only driven to and from church every Sunday by a sweet old blue-haired lady. Ok, I can’t lie. It was driven to and from the bar by an inside trader, and the interior may smell slightly of vodka. Plus, it might have a couple of minor cosmetic scratches. It should buff right out! Ok, I’m lying again. This is Paul Pelosi’s car. you know, Grandma Vodka’s husband? Famed inside trader? The…

Any stand-up comedy fans here? I am. I have loved stand -up since I was a kid. Steve Martin, Rodney Dangerfield, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor; I’ve been stealing their jokes for decades! I’ve never been a George Lopez fan, despite seeing him live (corporate thing). Not because he’s a Mexican and I’m a racist, it’s because I don’t like his style. He just always seemed like a Paul Rodruguez rip-off to me. What do I know; Lopez had his own tv show, the George Lopez Show (creative title, no?), and I just crack jokes to anyone willing to listen. The…

Seriously, what is wrong with people these days? Everywhere you look, people are fighting, Karens are threatening to “press charges” (my favorite), triggered libs are screaming at people and shots are getting popped at an alarming rate. What’s more concerning is no one seems willing to do anything about it! Law enforcement, especially in blue cities is undermanned, overwhelmed, and the Soros backed prosecutors “catch and release” like criminals are bluegill. Since no end appears to be in sight, what to do? Obviously, one must keep their head on a swivel to avoid losing it altogether. When out in public,…

Death has long been one of life’s great mysteries. Obviously, we are all going to die, though I plan to delay it as long as possible. What happens after death has been a hot topic of discussion for most of modern history. Much depends on a person’s belief system, personal experiences, etc. but pretty much all religions have some version of heaven and hell, and where you go depends on how you conducted yourself in this life. Regardless of what you believe, I believe one thing for certain; energy is never destroyed, and we are energy, so when we die…

A recent test of the GMC Hummer EV revealed that charging the vehicle’s large battery might cost up to, or even more than $100. The test was carried out at an Electrify America station, where charging costs $0.43 per kilowatt-hour. Gas for a large pickup truck is expensive, especially during these difficult times of inflation and skyrocketing gas prices, so anyone trying to save money on a ‘fill up’ might be caught off-guard when charging this EV. A team that has been testing various cars for several decades wanted to figure out the cost of charging the battery of any…
