The longtime cable TV legal analyst, Jeffrey Toobin is finished at CNN, as he announced that his time with CNN had finally come to an end. Toobin tweeted his announcement by saying: “Friends, I’ve decided that, after 20 years, I’m leaving @cnn after my vacation. Was great to spend my last day on air with pals Wolf, Anderson, and Don. Love all my former colleagues.” This was followed by CNN issuing a statement on Toobin’s departure: “We are grateful for Jeffrey’s contributions to the network over the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” There was…

In what may be her attempt to turn the page and stay relevant during what could be the downfall of her career, the liberal MSNBC presenter Rachel Maddow has recently praised the current state of the cable news industry, particularly focusing on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show. Although Maddow and Carlson have opposing political ideologies, she gave a positive response of his rise to rating domination. The comment was made in response to an interviewer’s claim that Maddow’s time slot on MSNBC obviously needed a successor since she had just stepped down from her primetime hosting duties. “Like, Tucker’s…

After the Biden administration’s concerns in a press conference that Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan could cause a firestorm with China, the U.S. House Speaker denied that the military warned her against making the trip. China was angered by Pelosi’s Aug. 2 to Aug. 3 visit to Taiwan, as they called the trip a threat to China’s sovereignty, and set off a week of People’s Liberation Army live fire exercises in the waters around the self-governing island. President Joe Biden said in June, that the military believed Pelosi’s then-unconfirmed trip was “not a good idea” as China ramped up threats…

After a recent report revealed that American businesses had added 528,000 people to their payrolls during the last month, Larry Summers said his worries about inflation have only intensified. The ex-treasure secretary explained that it’s good news that businesses began hiring more U.S. citizens, but the bad news is that the situation will further complicate the Federal Reserve’s struggle to keep the sky-high inflation under control while Joe Biden is president. “I’m more worried about inflation tonight than I was last night,” Summers explained. “And I think it’s misleading not to see things that way.” According to the most recent…

A recent interview with the New York Times editorial board revealed that Democratic Rep. Carolyn Maloney “officially” announced that President Joe Biden would not be running for president again, but later backtracked her statement. The White House has also suggested that Biden will indeed run for reelection. While discussing Biden’s reelection bid with the editorial board Carolyn Maloney, the chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, said, “Off the record, he’s not running again.” When Jyoti Thottam, Times editorials editor went on, Maloney replied, “On the record? No, he should not run again.” This sentiment is not voiced publicly…

Here we are folks, on the precipice of ruin, thanks largely in part to the “Inflation Reduction Act” passed last week by the democrats. Of course, I don’t know how 400 billion for green energy is going to reduce inflation, but I don’t expect anything this massive cash cow offers is going to do one thing to ease the grip inflation has on our economy. However, that isn’t stopping Schumer, Pelosi, Biden and the rest of the “tax and spend” liberals in Washington from taking a victory lap. I generally thought victory laps should be saved for positive accomplishments, not…

It’s going to happen folks. Likely it already has to most of us, several times probably. We are ALL going to get Covid. I have had it three times, literally all of my family and friends have had it, it’s just a fact of life in 2022, you are going to get Covid. Thankfully while the newest strains are super contagious, they are also mostly just a nuisance. Generally, just mild cold symptoms. With the use of the antiviral Paxlovid, people who are at higher risk, like our President Joe Biden suffer only mild symptoms, despite their advanced years. It…

A man died in the wake of drinking a container of cloudy fluid as a jury sentenced him to five counts of child sexual assault. Up until this point, Leclair was on trial in Denton, Texas where he had been free on bond until the verdict came back last Thursday where he was found guilty. The capture and arrest of Leclair occurred back in…

Things seem to be getting worse and worse in America, with crime running rampant and spinning out of control as blue state governors, mayors, and DAs do little to deal with the threats their law-abiding citizens have to face on a nearly daily basis thanks to soft on crime policies and police in retreating following the George Floyd “Summer of Love” riots. Yet another example of the crime and anarchy spawned from that situation came from Hollywood recently, where some punk felt comfortable assaulting and robbing an elderly man at a restaurant despite it being broad daylight and there being…

Around 12:30 p.m. on August 12, in the steamy town of Mesa, Arizona, a brave man named Emmanuel Reynoso Avila darted into his home and grabbed his gun. Why? Because violence had come to his community and he was there to see it: in a shocking turn of events for the day, he had just witnessed a man slam into his next-door neighbor, Christopher Heimer, with his vehicle. Apparently, the incident started when Heimer was walking on the sidewalk after having been drawn out of his home by a man named John Lagana, who had been laying on his horn…

In response to the unprecedented FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, the pro-Trump street artist and renegade disrupter known as Sabo took to the streets of Los Angeles and hung a series of signs around the City of Angels supporting the 45th president and denouncing the now-weaponized Federal Bureau of Investigations. The signs were positioned in groupings on traffic light posts and telephone wires, and read “F*ck the FBI” and “Trump 2024 MAGA,” two of the artist’s key messages which were displayed on a white background with black lettering and hung in the neighborhoods of Brentwood and…

Ever seen a UFO? I have. Or at least think I have. That’s the problem. Many, many people, even people we know have seen what is commonly known as a UFO, despite the fact that the government has renamed them UAP, or “Unexplained Aerial Phenomenon”. I thought we were doing fine with “UFO” but count on the government to confuse things. Question remains, what are we seeing? Certainly, the vast majority of UFO’s are explainable, just not at the moment or by who saw it. Some however, despite scrutiny from people who want to poo poo everything cool, like UFO’s…

Looks like the Democratic New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has come to his senses and eliminated the now-normal covid testing requirements for essential employees including child care workers, school employees, health workers, and state employees. While it may be a tad too late for any action since like in other areas throughout America we’ve seen many people who had lots of experience in those fields be fired or quit over such mandates, he signed the executive order Monday which would lift the state’s mandate that all school locale and state employees guarantee their representatives are either vaccinated against covid or…

Predicting the future is no easy task. People, scientists, prognosticators and scammers have been trying to predict the future for years! Rarely works out, does it? Predicting the furure when it comes to climate is a much harder task, despite all the gloom and doom predictions from the “climate scientists”. Of course, every time they are wrong, they simply reset the goal post, so big deal if they are wrong! It’s an “evolving science”. That’s code for they have no idea. I remember being scared out of my husky Lee jeans as a kid (shut up, I was growing), when…

Have you ever been just floored by a news report? I mean numb, stunned, in disbelief? Me too. There have been big events in my life that have been unbelievable. The space shuttle Challenger, 9/11, Princess Di passing away in a high-speed chase, John Lennon’s murder. Events so shocking people talk about where they were and what they were doing years later when they found out. This isn’t one of them. You’ll remember last year, washed up actor and Trump Derangement Syndrome victim Alec Baldwin shot and killed a crew member on the set of his “b” list movie “Rust”?…

This is still America, right? You know, land of the free, home of the brave? People are still innocent until proven guilty and all that good stuff, right? Ok, just checking. It seems lately that even if someone is exonerated, either by a jury, or by charges being dismissed for whatever reason, they are still stained and marked permanently by the left. Take president Trump for instance. Impeached twice, investigated for Russian collusion, investigated for tax evasion, all with no proof, and often just stuff straight made up by the left. Yet, to most libs, Trump is evil incarnate. Makes…

Quick question. Did summer just recently become hot? I seem to remember summers being hot as a kid. We didn’t have air conditioning until I was almost out of the house, so maybe the heat exhaustion affected my memory. My fuzzy memory seems to recall sweltering days and muggy nights, though the climate alarmists would have us believe that hot summers are a relatively new phenomenon. We like to blame everything on the boogeyman known as climate change these days, even though the science is decidedly slanted toward one narrative, and the left keeps missing predictions of death and destruction.…

You shouldn’t cheat. Let’s just throw that out there. Whether it be at sports, on your taxes (87 thousand new IRS agents are gonna make sure you don’t), at work, whatever. Ok, maybe a little good in the short term, but those cows come home to roost eventually, and if it is on a scorned, vengeful woman with your credit card, well let’s just say it isn’t likely to…

The world has been a really crazy place lately, hasn’t it? Covid and the subsequent way it was mishandled by all our elected officials and public institutions has reshaped society for the worse. Arguing that point is to ignore the obvious. People lost their jobs because they refused an experimental vaccine, students were denied in school services, grieving families were denied last rites with ill loved ones. Yep, it’s been a true crapfest. The shocking part is how despite CDC recommendations finally starting to roll back to some semblance of common sense, some companies still refuse to “follow the science”…

Normally I am one hundred percent #teampeople. If a spider is in the house, or a snake is in the yard, if I can get a rolled-up newspaper or a garden hoe in time, I’m going to town. Yes, I know spiders eat insects, and don’t lecture me on the benefits of snakes. It’s a snake! Now if I am in the woods, it’s a different story. I understand and accept that I am in a snake’s living room. The woods belong to woodland creatures, just like the ocean belongs to fishes and such. I can’t get mad at the…
