Crime is spiking nationwide, particularly in what’s left of our larger Democrat controlled cities. It simply isn’t safe to walk the streets at night in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and it’s even dangerous in some of these places during the day. It isn’t unusual for thieves to just walk into a store and take exactly what they want in broad daylight and walk right out. That along with the all-too-common theme of daylight assaults have made some inner cities living hellscapes. How many businesses have to be robbed to the point of closing down, and how many innocent people have to be bludgeoned, stabbed or robbed before local and national leadership does anything about it? Joe Biden and the Democrats are too concerned with the witch hunt surrounding Donald Trump and bending over backward to the LGBTQ air force to care about the plight of everyday people. One business owner in Philadelphia has decided enough is enough and has taken security into his own hands.
Philadelphia has gotten so bad that stores are closing and relocating, and there is a permanent curfew for anyone under 18. As the city self-destructs, city leaders are too busy renaming the city Christmas tree a “holiday tree” to care about public safety. Read about that here. However, thieves are finding out they shouldn’t go into a certain Karco gas station in north Philly unless they are looking for a world of hurt. Check this out.
Philadelphia gas station owner Neil Patel hired security guards with AR-15s to deal with all the “nonsense, drug trafficking, hanging around, [and] gangs” endangering his employees.
Patel, who has a Karco gas station, hired “Pennsylvania S.I.T.E Agents clad with Kevlar vest and AR-15s or shotguns” to keep his employees safe.
A North Philly owner says he’s had enough violent crime at his gas station so he’s hired these guys to protect his customers and store.

Just a guess, but if I were a gambling person, I would suspect customers are lining up to shop at Patel’s station. Where else in this wasteland of a city can they feel safe? Patel decided to take matters into his own hands and stop waiting on city leaders to care.
“They are forcing us to hire the security, high-level security, state level. We are tired of this nonsense: robbery, drug trafficking, hanging around, gangs,” Patel said.
The guards he hired wear Kevlar vests and train regularly, maintaining firearm proficiency.
The best security is the kind you never need, and Patel and his Karco station are already enjoying the benefits of the added protection. Unfortunately, Patel had been the victim of such crime which led to his extreme, yet effective measures.
Prior to hiring the guards, Patel’s car was vandalized, and an ATM was stolen from his gas station. But FOX News notes Patel’s observation that crimes–including loitering–ended once he hired security.
Even though prices at the station undoubtedly have gone up to cover the added cost of private security, wouldn’t it be worth it to have peace of mind? No one wants to get jacked when they are just wanting a couple of scratchers and a candy bar, and now they don’t have to worry about it thanks to Neil Patel.
