After struggling to cope with the never-ending influx of illegal migrants swarming across the US-Mexico border, Texas governor Greg Abbott has begun to send busloads of migrants to other states. This Friday morning, the first 50 (predominantly) illegal migrants arrived via bus in New York City. The bus stopped at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan after the 2000-mile journey from the border. After disembarking from the bus, the migrants were left to fend for themselves. Some local charity workers arrived to help them secure hostels and homeless shelters for the night. One of the migrants said he had…

A furious China has announced that it will cut all communications with the US on numerous international issues including climate change, military issues and anti-drug trafficking systems as a direct consequence of Pelosi’s reckless one-day visit to Taiwan this week. Earlier today, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman issued a statement on state news station CCTV to announce sanctions against the House Speaker and her family. “In disregard of China’s grave concerns and firm opposition, Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi insisted on visiting China’s Taiwan region. This constitutes a gross interference in China’s internal affairs,” said the spokesman.…

A vegan food company has learned the hard way that eaters of the world don’t understand their beef with meat, and consumers have rejected its quest to get average Americans to eat plants in the form of patties. Beyond Meat forged an alliance with McDonalds for a three-year global distribution agreement starting in 2021, meaning the Golden Arches agreed to include a Beyond plant-based burger as one of their menu items among their more famous and popular Big Mac and Quarter Pounder with Cheese. The move seemed to be a response to a perceived gradual desire from consumers for more…

Well, unfortunately, citizens in the country of Spain are no longer allowed to keep their air conditioning units below 80°F. The new totalitarian law has been issued due to the EU limiting the reliance on Russian gas which in return has caused a major energy shortage. Spain has taken the contentious step of prohibiting the use of air conditioning in the summer months at temperatures lower than 27 degrees Celsius which is about 80.6 degrees Fahrenheit.…

Can’t a fella just get a new dog? I mean, you can always go down to the shelter and rescue a pit bull mix. Heaven knows there are always twenty or so pit mixes at the shelter. Apparently, pits are getting all the action in the dog world. And poodles. There’s a doodle in every other household. Ok, so maybe your tastes are a little more refined? Maybe you don’t want a dog that someone else had to give up. A “used” dog. Whatever, I’m not here to judge. Go to a breeder if that’s what you are into. I…

We have all called in sick before, right? Some days, you just can’t go in. Taking a mental health day is real, and beneficial! Sometimes you go in, but just aren’t feeling it. I’ve been there more times than I can remember. You look at the clock and it taunts you. Your mind wanders and you start asking yourself questions. Questions like, ‘what if I just leave? Will anyone notice’? Or maybe you daydream about a fire or a bomb threat, or a gas leak. Nothing real of course, I’m not a sociopath, but just an idle threat from a…

The once-in-a-generation flooding in Eastern Kentucky was insane. Entire neighborhoods washed away, heavy equipment flipped over, cars and trucks washed away. That’s not even to mention the loss of life. Much infrastructure was destroyed as well. Eastern Kentucky will bear the scars of this natural disaster for decades. Thankfully the Democrats in Washington have “thoughts and prayers” for the victims, while using the tragedy to push a climate change narrative. Typical. No mention yet of when Joe Biden or Kamala Harris will be touring the area. That’s a joke, they won’t go near. Thankfully, corporations and Kentuckians have rallied to…

Sometimes, you just can’t win, can you? Seems like no matter how hard you try, people are still going to complain. Some decisions should be no brainers. Things like seat belt laws, public indecency ordinances, discharging a weapon in city limits; you know, just common-sense regulations. Of course, when talking about common sense, Los Angeles isn’t exactly the first place that comes to mind, is it? I’ve only been to LA once, but not going to lie, I loved it. I didn’t want to, but the climate, the mountains, the canyons, Sunset Strip, I just loved it. What I didn’t…

A teacher who assaulted a teenage boy for years has been surprisingly sentenced to spend just 60 days in prison. The sentence has also been delayed for some time because the child abuser had recently given birth.  Though she was also registered as a sex offender and given 10-year probation, the sentence still seems unacceptable for someone who molested a child continuously for 3 good years. In this case, the teenage boy is not believed to have gotten the justice he deserves as his abuser will only be a prisoner for 2 months, which is incomparable to his suffering. The…
